I've always been passionate about helping others navigate important decisions and feel confident about the future. That's what first drew me to education, and it's what ultimately led me to a career in financial planning.
As a former educator with a Bachelor's Degree in Math Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, I bring both a teacher's mindset and a planner's perspective to my work. I believe financial guidance should be approachable, understandable, and built around what matters most to you. Finances are personal, and I understand that discussing your concerns, priorities, and goals for the future requires trust. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make informed decisions.
I know that financial decisions can feel overwhelming, especially when you're trying to balance today's priorities with tomorrow's goals. That's why I focus on creating a judgment-free environment where you can ask questions, explore your options, and gain confidence in the decisions you're making. I take the time to listen first, ask thoughtful questions, and develop strategies tailored to your unique situation. When appropriate, I also work alongside CPAs, estate planning attorneys, and insurance professionals to help ensure your financial strategy is working together as intended.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Robert, our young son, and our dog. We are both originally from a small town in southeast Oklahoma, and family remains at the center of everything we do. Since moving to Texas in 2016, I've proudly called the McKinney and Sherman areas home and enjoy serving the community where my family and I live, work, and grow.
